Sorry about the lack of updates folks, but just at the moment nothing is happening with the car. I'm doing a lot of thinking, finishing it off in my head with loads of nice shiny bits, but I dont have any nice shiny bits so its all in me head!

I've got a set of headlamps on it now that I got as a shop soiled bargain. They look better on the car with the few scratches hardly showing. Aslo got some new track control arms for the front. There wasn't much wrong with the ones I had, they were just different on each side but now I have pair that match, and my new gaiters fit them both a bit better, I feel a lot happier :-) I'll be in a better position to get on with it next month as I'm off work for a week and should have some cash to play with.

I've got me eyes on a pair of Corbeau seats that i think will look OK in the car. Low back jobbies with headrests that will see the harness rest over the 'shoulder' of the seat instead of through slots in the high back Cobras and fibreglass seats.

I'll be asking the guys on Locostbuilders if they are any good before I take the plunge!















I seem to have accumulated a fair bit of junk just lately along with two 1000Litre IBC's. I'm going to have a go at getting them into the garden at the weekend and will take the opportunity to have a clear out and get some action going on the car front.

Just a quick update in case anyone's wondering what's going on. The car is at a stage now where its on 4 wheels, brakes, steering, engine, box and transmission all in. The body is all fitted, with just the arches to fit. I'm leaving them as I dont want to dmage them during the rest of the build.

All that happened pretty quick but I've used up all the parts from the kit and donor and am now waiting until the holidays are over before I plough on with the credit card to progress.

Next steps are lights, dials and seats to purchase and that should see me really close to SVA.
